Hydrogen
Hydrogen is a sustainable option as a raw material, fuel and energy carrier. For example, hydrogen can be used to reach the high temperatures required for foundries or the production of glass and ceramics, for example. And there are direct applications in mobility and as fuel for aviation and shipping. In addition, hydrogen can be used to produce electricity. Because hydrogen can be stored relatively easily and cheaply, this is possible at times when wind and sun cannot meet the demand for electricity.
