In the Netherlands, there are a number of central and local production units that produce electricity. Together, they supply a capacity of more than 90 million MWh. More than 10,500 million m³ of water is required to produce this gigantic amount.

The majority of this water is used for cooling. The remainder is deployed for the production of chemically ultra-pure water (demiwater) that is then used as boiler feed water for the production of high-pressure steam. The ultra-pure quality of the water ensures a longer life span for expensive equipment and therefore a lower total cost of ownership.

While Evides Industriewater guarantees the non-stop delivery of high-quality water, the energy company can focus exclusively on its core business. We provide our services to Uniper, amongst others.
